S4 Safety Footwear
S4 safety footwear is rubber or polymeric waterproof footwear with protective toecap, anti-static properties and impact energy absorbing heel unit. S4 safety footwear meets the safety basic footwear requirements to EN ISO 20345:2011.
The key features of S4 safety footwear include:
S4 footwear includes all the features of S1 and S2 footwear, such as a steel or composite toe cap, antistatic properties, energy absorption in the heel, closed heel area, resistance to fuel oil and slip-resistant sole but additionally offer complete waterproof protection through the use of rubber or polymeric materials that guaranteed no water will get through no matter what the weather or environment.
Additional features: S4 footwear may include additional features, such as a metatarsal guard, a heat-resistant sole and resistance to chemicals.
