S7 footwear includes all the basic features such as a steel or composite toe cap, antistatic properties, energy absorption in the heel, closed heel area, resistance to fuel oil, slip-resistant sole and water-resistant upper but with the addition of a protective midsole offering penetration resistance, protrusions on the sole that provide additional traction on a soft or slippery surface and waterproof protection to the whole footwear.
