Under the EN388:2016 standard gloves are classified as cut level B to F, based on the updated TDM straight blade test. Cut Level C gloves resist between 10 to 14.9 Newtons of force in the ISO 13997 TDM blade test. This ensures greater accuracy and consistency compared to older standards. Cut C gloves are ideal for jobs where there is a consistent risk of hand injuries from slicing, cutting, or handling sharp components. Cut C gloves are a common replacement for old EN388:2003 Cut Level 5 gloves, offering better testing accuracy and safer performance.
